Back in September 1973, my father bought a Hellas Metallic BIG Beetle. As I was only born in 1976, it was the first car that I known my parents to have. In 1984, the date came for my father to part with his beetle as it had done 120000km and was suffering from a slipping clutch when it exceeded 80kph.
